EXHIBITION AND SALE TERMS & CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions apply to your purchase of a ticket to attend “The Nanny Exhibit” (Exhibition) at The District Docklands, Shops SEG10-15, 101 Studio Lane, Docklands VIC 3008 (Venue). They also apply to and govern your behaviour when you attend the Exhibition.
Tickets are sold by, and the Exhibition is run by, Sheffield-Babcock Productions Pty Ltd trading as The Nanny Exhibit (Promoter, we, us or our).
- About these terms and conditions
- You should read the terms and conditions before purchasing a ticket for the Exhibition and/or attending the Exhibition.
- These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of Exhibition tickets over this website. You agree to be bound by these terms and conditions by submitting your request to purchase Exhibition tickets. These terms and conditions must be read in conjunction with any other applicable terms and conditions governing the use of this website, including our Website Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
- Purchasing tickets for the Exhibition
- You may offer to purchase Exhibition tickets described on this website for the price specified on this website at the time of purchase.
- Your order must contain [your name, Australian postal address, phone number, e-mail address, credit card details, preferred delivery method and any other ordering information specified on this website].
- You must purchase your tickets at least one hour before you wish to attend the Exhibition to ensure that your order can be processed in time.
- Confirmation of your purchase will be sent to your e-mail address once payment has been authorised. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail shortly after payment has been made, please contact our ticketing partner, Flicket at support@flicket.co.nz. It is your responsibility to confirm with us whether or not your order has been placed. Orders will not be processed and confirmed if payment is unsuccessful.
- As we have a Venue capacity, your ticket request may be declined if the requested date is fully subscribed. In this situation, you may seek to book an alternative date.
- A valid ticket entitles you to entry to the Exhibition for the full day of the booking.
- Payment
- Payment must be affected by using the payment methods on this website.
- A booking fee will apply for each booking.
- Prices on the website are inclusive of goods and services tax.
- Entry into the Exhibition
- Entry to the Exhibition will be granted with presentation of:
- a valid bar-coded ticket issued by our ticketing agency, Flicket; or
- a valid bar-coded print-at-home PDF ticket.
- You may also be required to provide a valid identification at point of entry (to provide you are the correct ticket holder).
- You may also be required to provide a copy of your concession card if you purchase a concession ticket.
- Entry to the Exhibition will be granted with presentation of:
- Ticket Restrictions
- Exhibition tickets may not, without the prior written consent of the Promoter, be;
- re-sold or offered for resale; or
- used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions); or
- used to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original purchaser or any subsequent bearer.
- If an Exhibition ticket is used in breach of this clause, the Exhibition ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the Exhibition ticket may be refused admission. The Promoter will use reasonable efforts to notify you of such action.
- Exhibition tickets may not, without the prior written consent of the Promoter, be;
- Ticket Purchase Limits

- The Promoter reserves the right to enforce published ticket purchase limits and cancel any tickets obtained above such limits in any one transaction or by any one customer.
- If you exceed the stated ticket limit, you may have all or any of your order and tickets cancelled without notice by the Promoter in its discretion. This includes orders associated with the same name, email address, billing address, credit card number or other information. In such instances, you will receive a full refund for the tickets that have been cancelled.

- Lost Tickets
We will provide you with a replacement ticket if your ticket is lost or destroyed on presentation of proof of purchase.
- Your conduct at the Exhibition

- Directions of Event Staff: You must follow the reasonable directions of Exhibition staff as required and comply with the law at all times while you are attending the Exhibition.
- Children: Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian over the age of 18.
- Search on entry: It is a condition of entry that you allow Venue staff to search your bag(s) and personal effects for prohibited items. A list of prohibited items is included in clause 17 of these terms and conditions.
- Smoking and/or vaping: The Venue has a “No Smoking or Vaping” policy. If you do not comply with this policy, you may be refused entry and/or asked to leave the Venue. The policy also applies to external areas where this would also apply.
- Photographing and/or recording: Personal digital cameras (including smart phones) are permitted at the Exhibition. SLR cameras are permitted but professional photography equipment (eg telephoto lenses; any lens over 20cm; any detachable lens) is not permitted without Promoter-issued media accreditation. Venue staff will determine in their discretion whether equipment is considered to be professional photography equipment. Photos of Exhibition are permitted only on the basis that:
- images are only used for private and personal use, including posting on social media; and
- images cannot be made available for sale and/or public display without express written permission of Promoter.
- No animals: Animals are not permitted at the Exhibition. Service animals are permitted.
- No pass-outs: Pass-outs will not be issued unless otherwise stated.
- Cloak room: We may require that you place large bags and coats in our cloak room.
- Your Behaviour:
- You must ensure that you and your invitees act in an orderly manner when attending the Venue and the Exhibition.
- The Promoter may, acting reasonably, refuse entry or evict you or any of your invitees if you or any of your party are behaving in a disorderly, offensive or inappropriate manner.
- Alcohol: You must not bring alcohol into the Venue as it will be confiscated and will not be returned. Only alcohol supplied by the Promoter (where applicable) may be consumed at the Venue. If you wish to consume alcohol (where applicable), you must have valid proof of age photo ID. If you are found supplying or buying alcohol for a minor (a person under 18 years of age) you will be evicted from the Venue and may be referred to police.
- Food and Drink: No food or drink will be permitted into the Venue.
- Drugs: If you are found supplying, consuming or in possession of illicit drugs you will be removed from the Venue and may be referred to police.
- Signage: You are not permitted to display trading signs at the Venue without prior written consent of Promoter.
- Clothing and footwear: Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn at all times at the Venue.

- CCTV
You acknowledge and understand that CCTV cameras may be present in or around the Venue.
- Your Personal Information
- Pursuant to your booking, the Promoter may need to collect and keep personal information about you. See our Privacy Policy at [INSERT LINK] for further information.
- If you have any questions about how Promoter will handle your personal information, please contact privacy@thenannyexhibit.com. Please note that all payment information is handled by Southern Payment Systems Pty Ltd and subject to its T&C, no information on credit cards is collected or stored by Flicket Ltd or the Promoter.
- Liability

- We make every effort to ensure the safety of all patrons at the Venue, and the security of your personal effects in the cloak room.
- However, we cannot control the actions of others at the Venue. Subject to any rights under the Australian Consumer Law which we cannot lawfully limit or exclude, we exclude all liability for any loss, damage, liability or injury you suffer or incur in connection with your entry to and presence at the Venue.
- For the purposes of this clause, “Australian Consumer Law” means Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and the corresponding provisions of the relevant State and Territory fair trading acts.
- You must not cause any loss, damage or liability at the Venue including any damage to any Exhibition items. You agree that we may ask you to reimburse us if you cause any loss, damage or liability (including any injury to any other person or any damage to any property) at or in the Venue.

- Injury or illness
In the event of injury or illness, we may, at your cost, arrange medical treatment and/or emergency evacuation as deemed essential for your safety (acting reasonably).
- Ticket Name Change
- For some events, Flicket facilitates the transfer/renaming of ticket(s). Fees may apply which will be disclosed to you before you confirm whether you wish to transfer/rename your ticket.
- Once you have transferred/renamed your ticket(s) you will have no rights or ownership to the ticket(s) transferred.

- Refund Policy
- The Exhibition is an all-weather event. The Exhibition will take place rain, hail or shine. Tickets purchased are for the Exhibition, not for specific artists or acts. Where relevant, the Promoter reserves the right to change, add, withdraw or substitute artists in the Exhibition line-up or vary the advertised program.
- We do not refund for change of mind.
- There will be no refund of any unused portion of an ticket if you or your invitees are asked or forced to leave the Venue for any of the reasons set out in these terms and conditions or if you decide not to attend the Exhibition.
- Environment
We care for the environment and community. Please be respectful and place any litter in the bins provided around the Venue.
- Events outside of our control
- Certain circumstances may arise which prevent us from opening the Venue and/or Exhibition (including but not limited to an emergency including a fire or flood).
- If this occurs, you will be contacted and offered a full refund for your ticket or to exchange your booking for a later date.
- Governing law
These terms and conditions are governed under the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the State of Victoria.
- Prohibited Items
- The following items are prohibited:
- Alcohol.
- Glass (jars, bottles, containers, mirrors and perfumes).
- Air horns.
- Weapons or explosives of any kind (including potential missiles).
- Illegal substances.
- Animals (excluding service dogs such as guide dogs and police or emergency service dogs).
- Nitrous oxide bulbs and canisters.
- Flares, fireworks, sparklers explosives, or any fire twirling equipment.
- Fires and open flames.
- Flammable liquids.
- Instruments.
- Advanced personal vaporisers (or modified APVs) or liquid refills for E-Cigs.
- Sound systems.
- Portable laser equipment and pens.
- Sharpies, markers, paint cans or paint pens.
- Drones or other remote-control devices.
- Couches and chairs.
- Audio or video recording devices (including GoPro and similar).
- Professional photography equipment (eg telephoto lenses; any lens over 20cm; any detachable lens; stands or other commercial equipment or anything deemed by Venue staff to be professional photography equipment).
- Kites or sky lanterns.
- Toy guns, water guns or slingshots.
- Monopods, tripods or attachment sticks (selfie-sticks).
- Skateboards, scooters, wagons, carts, rollerblades, roller skates, bicycles, quad-bikes, segways, hoverboards, self-balancing scooters or any personal motorised vehicles with the exception of motorised mobility vehicles.
- Unauthorised solicitation materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, give-aways, samples, or other promotional items.
- Eskies and coolers.
- Umbrellas.
- The following items are prohibited:
